When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.
Broken Heart
Love. Love is not just a word. Love is a verb. You show love, you love. When you feel love you feel happy, elated, ecstatic. At the same time you make something more fragile than the thinnest string. You feel string that nothing can break this love. But at the same time you make yourself vulnerable. A person can crush your heart and leave a pain that’s unbearable for anyone. All it takes is one word and you feel like someone just stabbed you and left. You begin to feel like your nothing. You cry yourself to sleep at night. You tell yourself that he’s not worth it. But the pain doesn’t go away. Does he know what he’ll he put you in? Does he know the pain he’s causing? No! He continues at though we never met. While my heart disintegrates into a million pieces. He’s living his life to the fullest. You erase all his messages. You erase his pictures. But the memories stay. They haunt you. They take over when you least expect it. What do you do when everything false apart and nothing helps? Someone once told me that you’ll go through tons of broken hearts until you find the one you truly belong with. These words linger in my mind. Can I stand another heartbreak? So now I stand here with a broken heart. Waiting for someone to come and mend it. Waiting to find the one person that wouldn’t give up love for the simplest thing. Waiting for the darkness to take over me and consume my feelings so I don’t feel nothing. Who will break the bond? So I sit as the cold consumes me and wait…
